Summer sunsets at Christmas-time

Hello..

My polish today doesn't have any nail art, but instead reminds me of a glorious clear sky summer evening.

As the sun sets, the sky flashes pink and glittering stars appear in the dusk as a warning for another warm day again tomorrow..

Base polish: BYS- pretty as a peach, Butter London- knackered
Poshe topcoat

28- Inspired by a flag. [30 day challenge/ untrieds]

Hello. I was going to do the easiest flag, or my homegrown Australian flag. But today I have tried to do something I wouldn't normally consider for the [30 day challenge/ untrieds].

So I went to the bookcase, found the atlas and pointed with my eyes closed on the world page to...
the top bit of Vietnam, but my chunky finger also was near Hainan, China.

I've chosen to do the Vietnam flag design- red (Butter London- pillar box red) and yellow (models own- lemon meringue).
Stamped the star image using BM05 and konad- white.

I found a lamp that is fairly bright, and can use it instead of waiting for the sun to pop up.

See you again tomorrow. Wow, nearly complete for the 30 day challenge.

Are you going to be doing the "This Is Halloween" Challenge? During October..

Don't forget to check out the others participating in the 30 day/ untrieds :)

SSSP: Leafies... and new pretties :)

Hello.. Welcome to another Sunday Stamping Sneak Peek (SSSP)..
The theme for this week from AIS is Leafies.. I'm pretty certain that means leaf/ leaves/ the bits on a tree that are not flowers??

Well.. awesome haulage for me this week, nail mail (card left on Monday for me to pick up, but only did it on Friday).

My Cheeky plates had arrived :)
I ordered the new set that everyone's raving about- on the pre-order. And while I was ordering..  the set of plates numbered CH 1-29, also jumped into my basket !!

Also this week on Monday I made a detour and picked up Instyle magazine on the way home. Butter London- pink ribbon is mine.
And I went to pre-purchase tickets for a charity screening on Sunday of Hotel Transylvania at our local shopping centre, raced into Safeway and now have 2 Instyle magazines, and Butter London- pillar box red for the bargain price of $8.95

Ok, onto the mani for AIS..

Right hand- stamped with essence- lime up

Right thumb- stamped with konad- white.

Left hand- stamped with insta dry- jumpin jade.

Thumb- stamped with konad- white.
Sorry I couldn't show you the stamping in green on the other nails, it disappeared, but was the same design as on the thumb..

Base polish: essence- vampire's love- gold old buffy
Stamping polish: sally hansen insta dry- jumpin' jade & konad- white & essence- lime up

Sunday Stamping Sneak Peek (SSSP): using 2 stamps

Hello.. the theme for this week from AIS is using 2 different stamps in your mani.

I had no plate in mind that I wanted to use for stamping with. I firstly chose to stamp using red, and worked back from there.. choosing a base colour, then deciding I wanted to have a different colour accent nail, and finally picking up the handful of bundle monster series3 plates in a stack and sliding 2 out.

this is what I came up with:

Base polish: Butter London- yummy mummy , NYC- red slippers (Ulta3 dupe- "English rose")
stamping polish: KONAD red, KONAD white pearl
image plate: BM306, BM308

Have you perfected nail art stamping? I'm using the full nails easily, but need more practise applying the nail tip stamps..

Have a great week
