Fishtail on my nail

It's Monday and let's get straight into a weeks worth of posts from me- starting with the ANM theme for this week "fishtail" !

Base polish: Glamazon- windsor, max factor- fantasy fire (it has 1 thorough coat of fantasy fire, but is invisible in the pics)

SSSP: put the light on top

Hello.. Welcome to another Sunday Stamping Sneak Peek (SSSP)..
The theme for this week from AIS is "light stamp over a dark base"

I started with a layer of dark blue polish, then added the gold/blue glitter of "through the looking glass".

The full image stamp is of swirls, then I added a white rabbit (like from Alice in Wonderland..)

The polish has tiny bright pink and blue glitters too.

28- Inspired by a flag. [30 day challenge/ untrieds]

Hello. I was going to do the easiest flag, or my homegrown Australian flag. But today I have tried to do something I wouldn't normally consider for the [30 day challenge/ untrieds].

So I went to the bookcase, found the atlas and pointed with my eyes closed on the world page to...
the top bit of Vietnam, but my chunky finger also was near Hainan, China.

I've chosen to do the Vietnam flag design- red (Butter London- pillar box red) and yellow (models own- lemon meringue).
Stamped the star image using BM05 and konad- white.

I found a lamp that is fairly bright, and can use it instead of waiting for the sun to pop up.

See you again tomorrow. Wow, nearly complete for the 30 day challenge.

26- Inspired by a pattern. [30 day challenge/ untrieds]

Hello.. This post has been done at the last minute for day 26 of the [30 day challenge/ untrieds].

As it's inspired by a pattern day- I had this fabric chosen to recreate on my nails, but wasn't in the mood to do detailed bits..

So I was going to forfeit this day, until I saw the amazing manis from others also doing the challenge.

My Inspiration: is the stamping plate design I have used the most often, before when I only had 1 set, and seeing the sun shine today..

25- Inspired by fashion. [30 day challenge/ untrieds]

Hello.. I'm glad you can't see what I'm wearing while I type this.. it's nothing bad, just washing day limits the choices.
Onto today's mani for day 25- wow, nearly the end of the [30 day challenge/ untrieds].

My inspiration comes from the design in my favourite party dress. See pic below :)

11- polka dots. [30 day challenge/ untrieds]

Hello.. Lookie here at my skittle mani with dots-- using models own polish for the
[30 day challenge/ untrieds].

I stamped over the individual colours with konad plate M56?- the design with all the dots like a fishnet. then I used my beginners skill in dotting to add 3 blue dots to each nail.. They blend in too much on the green nail though.

SSSP: poisonous or toxic

Hello..Welcome to another Sunday Stamping Sneak Peek (SSSP)..
I had to look through my plates for inspiration, as nothing shouts from my mind when I think of the theme for this week from AIS.
The obvious are Britney Spears song- Toxic, or the chemical symbols from poison bottles.

Ok I'm doing a purple octopus with poisonous tentacles in a blue sea.

Base polish: Models own- blue moon & In a NYC minute- prince street.
Stamping polish:KONAD- purple & KONAD- pastel blue.
Image plate:BM20 (octopus tentacles), BM325 tips (octopus head).

Sorry I've got a dodgy pic for you, fingers crossed the sun shines for me tomorrow!!

3- yellow. [30 day challenge/ untrieds]

Hello.. It's yellow day today- the colour of cute smiley faces, but also a colour rarely seen on my nails when I have the choice.
My untried is from the essence colour3: seasons of extremes- it's two bright for the [30 day challenge/ untrieds], accompanied by models own- lemon meringue (base under 3 nails), and ulta3 white (under thumb) and black (under 1).

 

Final mani- not happy with the pics, in the sun it was sparkly yellow on the white and the models own yellow. On top of the black it became a totally different sparkle.

 

 

 

Wish I had more time, would have done some stamping- I think this daily posting is fun, but I'm having trouble getting excellent pics to show you how good the polish I have is..
